Inyoungcheonhwa
Introduction
Inyoungcheonhwa is a central film appreciation club focused on sharing and discussing members’ thoughts on movies. In addition to building friendships, the club aims to deepen members’ knowledge of film, making it not only a casual hobby group but also a club with a strong academic focus.
Major activities include regular meetings, where two films are selected each month for members to watch individually before gathering at a scheduled time to discuss them, as well as informal meetups where members freely choose newly released films or other movies they would like to watch together. The club also organizes end-of-semester gatherings, visits to film festivals, its own film festival, membership training trips, and various other activities. Inyoungcheonhwa operates its own blog, Instagram account, and Naver BAND, providing members with spaces where they can freely share film reviews and reflections. Regular monthly meetings continue around selected themes and films, and members regularly attend film festivals such as the Jeonju International Film Festival and Diaspora Film Festival in May and the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in July. During the university festival in May, the club also received funding for a non-alcohol booth and organized the 3rd Inyoungcheonhwa Film Festival together with its members, featuring a variety of related events.
Anyone who loves movies, wants to learn more about film, or would like to share a common interest with others is welcome! Additional information is available on our Instagram and blog.
