Introduction
The College of Social Sciences houses the Department of Social Welfare, which explores and researches theories and methodologies to lead the future of a welfare society. It also consists of the Department of Media Communication, which fosters professionals to lead various fields of mass media in the digital communication era; the Department of Library and Information Science, which aims to provide appropriate information by selecting and organizing the optimal insights from a vast amount of data and knowledge; and the Department of Creative Talent Development, which produces experts in corporate education and human resource development to cultivate creative talent. Meanwhile, to foster smart leaders for a data-driven knowledge society, the four departments of the College of Social Sciences jointly operate an interdisciplinary major in Social Data Science.

Educational Objectives and Goals
Social science is a discipline that seeks to solve pressing social problems and explore desirable social development strategies through the systematic analysis of the dynamic interaction between humans and society. In alignment with the university's educational goal of fostering global talent through creative educational innovation, the College of Social Sciences aims to produce 21st-century global leaders equipped with social scientific insights and specialized knowledge in various fields.
