Important Notes on Undergraduate University Scholarships
Separate scholarship standards apply to contract-based departments and the Northeast Asian Trade major.
Available university scholarships differ by application round. Check INU News > Notices > Scholarships and review the applicable announcement and precautions.
Unless separately indicated, scholarships cannot be combined during the standard eight-semester program and cannot exceed the tuition amount.
(For combinations of university scholarships, this rule applies among scholarships bearing the same [Scholarship Classification]. Any separately stated restriction on multiple awards also applies.)

All scholarships remain unpaid when tuition is unpaid or registration is incomplete.
Unless separately indicated, students whose GPA in the previous regular semester is below 2.0 are ineligible for scholarships.
Foreign Language Excellence, Merit, INU Love, Family Love, and similar scholarships: If every course grade in the previous semester is Pass/Fail and no GPA can be calculated, the most recent regular semester producing a GPA is used.
The University Matching Scholarship for National Work-Study follows the operating guidelines of the Korea Student Aid Foundation National Work-Study Scholarship Program.
International students receiving full scholarship support funded by their home country are excluded from university scholarship eligibility.

For two or fewer eligible students, the Student Council Officer Scholarship is not awarded, and one Merit Academic Excellence Scholarship is awarded.
Fractional values are disregarded in calculating the number of Academic Excellence Scholarship recipients for each department.
