Ullim is a samulnori club that performs traditional Korean percussion music using the janggu, buk, kkwaenggwari, and jing. Members participate in regular practice sessions and a variety of performances throughout the year.

Founded in 1985 by students who wished to preserve the value of Korea’s traditional sounds, Ullim has continued to share the joy and powerful resonance of samulnori with many people.

Samulnori is also a great way to relieve stress—you can play the instruments freely and enjoy making powerful sounds together! Because it is music performed through teamwork and shared rhythm rather than individually, it naturally brings members together, creating a lively atmosphere filled with laughter, conversation, and energy. 😆
