Introduction

Hello! We are INSDIES, Incheon National University’s central Black music club.
Our members share a passion for Black music genres such as hip-hop and R&B. Together, we enjoy music, create original tracks, and perform on stage. We also produce stylish promotional content using our music releases and live performance videos.

* Club Activities

While preparing group tracks, members learn the basics of songwriting, including recording, rap and melody making, and lyric writing.
We regularly hold study sessions on topics such as beat making, mixing, and mastering.
Through our 'Complete Your Own Track' project, members work on creating and finishing an original song of their own.
Members attend various live performances together.
We independently plan and organize performances and take the stage ourselves.
We edit performance footage of our players to create promotional videos.

* Recruitment Areas

PLAYER (Rap & Vocal)
: Players write and compose their own songs or cover songs they enjoy, and perform them on stage.
MANAGER
: Managers participate in club operations through performance planning, filming, and various supporting roles.
They also create content based on club activities and help promote the club through social media.
BEAT MAKER
: Beat makers learn beat making through regular group sessions and produce beats across a variety of genres.

* Club Room (Incheon National University Songdo Campus, Room 431, Building 17)

The INSDIES club room is equipped for recording, mixing and mastering, and beat making. Members can work on music in the club room at any time, and even those with no prior music production experience can learn step by step through the club’s programs. The room is equipped with computers and basic MIDI software such as Cubase and FL Studio, as well as microphones, audio interfaces, monitoring speakers, headphones, and a keyboard.
