Universe Promotional Slogan and Design Contest Awards Ceremony / "Uni, Take Care of the School Meals!" On-site Cooking Competition Awards Ceremony
Incheon National University (President Lee In-jae) held the 'INU Uni-Planning Contest' and hosted an awards ceremony on the 6th of this month to create a welfare campus centered on student happiness and satisfaction with college life by executing a student planning contest that provides a venue for various extracurricular activities through students' creative ideas and warm perspectives.
This contest was designed to spread a student-participatory campus culture and contribute to the creation of a consumer-centered welfare campus by encouraging enrolled students to directly plan promotional content using the university's unique character, 'Hwaetbuli,' and to propose healthy and reasonable cafeteria menus from the students' perspective.
Yoo Jae-eun, a student in the School of Design who received the Grand Prize in the "Uni, Take Care of the School Meals! On-site Cooking Competition" contest with a menu of Gochujang Beef Belly and Bean Sprout Stir-fry, shared her thoughts, saying, "As the student cafeteria is one of the spaces most frequently used by students on campus, I pondered a menu that considered taste, nutrition, and price all at once." She added, "I prepared it hoping there would be more school meals that students can enjoy without financial burden while eating healthily, and I am very happy and grateful to have achieved good results."
Lee Young-soo, Dean of Student Affairs and Employment, stated, "We will continue to expand extracurricular activity projects that students directly participate in to create a student-centered creative campus culture. Through this, we will make further efforts so that students can feel proud and increase their satisfaction with college life."
